masterpost of lost/harder to find psoh fics

okay so. i think it's fairly obvious to say that psoh is very much a dead fandom. it doesn't help that so many fics were lost to time, purges, dead site/archives, locked LJs, etc etc etc, not to mention that at the time the fandom was at its most active there wasn't one central location where people bothered to post aside from their own private pages (except for, maybe, the yahoo group). this list has the single aim to help people find fics that they likely wouldn't find easily on ao3 or ffn, regardless of pairing. it's not a rec list. it has NO WARNINGS OR RATINGS, and i WILL be linking fics i haven't read so advance at your own risk.

if you have any fic outside of ao3 and ffn that is not on this list, please send it my way! even if you have them in downloaded files and/or would rather not have me link it here, i'll still appreciate it for personal use! do not repost any of these fics without the writer's permission. if you're the writer of any of these and would rather not have the links to your work here anymore, please let me know.

Unwilling Sleep is such a wonderful fic - definitely my favourite PSoH fic, if not one of my favourites in any fandom. I've read it loads, although now I usually skip the epilogue as I find it adds a sour note to an otherwise completely perfect romance.

I know right??? Personally, my absolute favourite is Sadie, Sadie - I keep rereading it time and time again to the point I know whole sentences of it by memory! Man, those are such great fics TuT

I'm permanently bitter I didn't get to the fandom in time to read the other fics by Telanu exclusively posted on her website, ugh. Not even Wayback Machine has been able to help with that since it wasn't able to save those pages properly, so no dice :'D

It breaks my heart that as soon as Mediaminer goes down both Unwilling Sleep and SS will be lost forever to everyone who hasn't kept a personal copy :( It's already pumping itself full of ads to cover server costs again, so who knows how long it'll be able to keep itself afloat...

Oh wow, End of the Beginning was one of my favourite-ever fics and I was so sad when it vanished from ffn -- finding this just made my day!

(Some Kind of Bliss is still on ffn, btw. Uh, not that I actually want to encourage anyone to go and read my fic from 15 years ago.)

ooh is it? i thought for sure i hadn't found it (or maybe i searched by your DW username and couldn't find it since it's different), but sometimes i'll still link stuff here if they're not tagged with characters and the like since it makes it harder for people to find. and also that's such a mood kdlfjlskjdf my decade-old fics are still up but on a different account so that i Do Not Have to look at them >.<
