actually, you know what? personal psoh yuletide party!

i've already mentioned here how sad it makes me that psoh wasn't a nominated fandom for this year's yuletide. i know several fans (old and new and with myself very much included) really look forward to this time of the year to get new fics for a long-dead fandom.

that is not going to happen this year, unfortunately.

what i'm thinking is to maybe put in the effort and write several new fics for psoh myself on this time frame. it's not the same thing at ALL, and my writing is definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but gods, it's surely better than nothing. and i know not a lot of people on here are still into psoh, much less ones i've managed to friend, but if anyone has any prompts they desperately wish to see for a psoh short fic then send them my way and i'll try to see what i can do.

just a word of warning: this is NO guarantee i'll actually get any writing done. work is hell and hell is work, and muses are very fickle things, and i have my own official yuletide fic to work on once they send out assignments! i just feel terrible and Very Bad Indeed that there will probably be no new fics otherwise. just please don't ask me to write sofu i hate him

Don't know if any of this will click with you, but all the PSOH stuff in my Yuletide letter from last year still applies!

Oh yeah, I was your Yuletide writer last year so at least one of them is down! I remember I have some outtakes with an Entirely Different Vibe from the stuff I ended up posting, I could always rewrite something based on that!

Crossovers aren't generally my thing (unless it's like... Dracula/Barbie or another wild pairing, that's one of my relatively recent crackships) but I might use the other prompt. No promises though! I never know when the muse (and time) will decide to waltz away, unfortunately >->

I also expected PSoH to be in the tagset this year, and was just kinda planning to copy that whole section of the letter, with an extra note "more of any of this"...maybe it's better it's not, or we could've matched again and you'd have nothing new to work with ^_^;

Yeah, I barely even remember about Yuletide on time for sign-ups, much less nominations OTL It's so weird to not see it listed, it's been a nominated fandom on all the years I remember. I was counting on this year not being an exception, but alas...

Oh, big mood! I did the exact same thing for the fandoms I'm repeating tbh, perhaps with a few minor edits. We might still not have matched anyway - PSoH is a small (small) fandom but quite some people make their presence known for yuletide - but if we had I'd probably have gone with the leftover prompt so I wouldn't offer you the same thing twice :'D There wouldn't be much room for wandering there, I guess!
